Diplosphere had the pleasure of talking to the erudite Dr Rozbeh Parsi from Lundt University on the 12 days of conflict between Israel and the US on one side, and Iran. Israel launched a surprise attack Iran on Fri 13 June, 2025 followed by a US bomber strike on three Iranian nuclear facilities on June 22. In this short segment, Rouzbeh sets up the context, assesses motivations & and what happened, and gives a view on what next. The prognosis does not look good. Nuclear non-proliferation may have taken a body blow from this conflict.
